Curriculum
The curriculum in the Doctoral Study Program in Information Systems at Diponegoro University is held in 2 ways, namely By Course (BC) and By Reasearch (BR). The by-course program is held with structured lectures at the beginning of the semester as many as 10 credits (4 courses) while the by-research program does not have a load of lecture credits at the beginning of the semester, students immediately work on a dissertation proposal and conduct research. Students are given the freedom to choose one of the two programs, but the by research program is prioritized for students who already have a proposal with a good novelty and have sufficient experience of publication in reputable international journals. The difference in sks load for programs by course and by research is shown in the following table :

Structured Lectures
Structured Lectures are face-to-face lectures with lecturers held in regular classes of 10 credits consisting of 8 credits (3 courses) compulsory and 2 credits (1 course) elective.
Publication
Publication is required for every student of UNDIP Information Systems Doctoral Study Program. Programs by course and by research have different publication loads. The publication is realized in the form of reputable international proceedings and reputable international (regular) journals. The terms and conditions of reputable international proceedings and reputable international journals refer to the provisions of DIKTI. Some additional requirements from UNDIP Information Systems Doctoral Study Program include:
- The student is obliged to be the main author,
- Students are required to include the affiliation of the Doctoral Study Program in Information Systems at the UNDIP Postgraduate School (Doctoral Program of Information System, School of Postgraduate Studies, Diponegoro University, Semarang, Indonesia).
- Include the names of promoters and co-promoters.
HAKI
One of the additional requirements for students in the UNDIP Information Systems Doctoral Study Program is to register for IPR. Every student is required to register one of the IPR products on behalf of Diponegoro University, namely:
- Copyright
- Patent
- Brand
- Industrial Design
- Integrated Circuit Layout Design
- Geographical Indications
- Trade Secrets
